Bereavement Support
Play is the highest form of research

When something terrible happens in a child’s life their behaviour, emotional development and/or relationships with their family, friends or school can be greatly impacted. Grief and loss is presented in many different forms and generally requires early intervention. When we experience a loss in our lives this can mean a variety of things from a bereavement to the loss of a relationship through breakups, separations, house moves etc
A child’s sense of security is shattered and their world becomes a scary and unsafe place. Play Therapy provides the child with a safe, secure and accepting environment in which to explore these painful events through the natural medium of play. Children often struggle to express themselves in words, and unlike conventional talking therapies, the Play Therapy room provides a wide range of toys to allow the child an opportunity to express themselves fully in a way that feels right for them.
